Okay, I'm It
Jill tagged me on this one. It's my first time getting tagged for this kind of thing, so I think I'll play along (plus, she's been blogging about knitting lately and I'm the one who taught her to knit, so I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy towards her these days!)
*Just so those with sensitive feelings won't be hurt, I should say that I'm feeling EXTRA warm and fuzzy towards her these days, even more so than usual! : )
Four Jobs I've Had
-Ice cream slinger at an old-fashioned New England farm stand ice cream place (you know, the kind where you stand out front and they serve the ice cream through a window, only they have to slide the screen up first?)
-Clothing designer
-Receptionist
-Librarian
Four Movies You'd See Over and Over
-The Fifth Element
-Harold and Maude
-The Matrix (but only the first one, the others were awful)
-Gone With the Wind
Four Places You've Lived
-Carlisle, MA
-Santa Cruz, CA
-Providence, RI
-Menlo Park, CA
Four Television Show You Like to Watch
-Battlestar Galactica (the new one, of course).
-Lost
-Dirty Jobs
-The West Wing (although it's not nearly as good as it used to be)
Four Websites You Visit Daily
-The Yarn Harlot
-Yarn-a-Go-Go
-Google News
-The Panopticon
Four Places You'd Rather Be (I'm changing this one to Four Places You'd Like to Visit)
-A beach (I haven't been on a sit-on-your-butt on the beach vacation in at least 15 years, and I'm thinking it would be nice)
-Munich (the Hubby and I met on a student trip to Munich when we were in high school, and we want to go back and take the kids some day)
-Hong Kong (I used to go there on business and I'd like to go there on vacation some time)
-New Zealand (I've heard so many good things from people who have visited, plus there's all those sheep, there's bound to be lots of good yarn!)
Four People to Tag
-I'm not going to do this one, I don't know four people who blog that haven't already done this that I know well enough to ping.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some planning to do. A very nice LYS is having a series of sales and activities today tied in with the SuperBowl, and they are selling everything in the store for half price during half time; that's right, 20 minutes to grab everything you can (no bags or baskets) and get in line before halftime ends.
SO, even though I have lots of yarn, very little extra money, and plans to go to Stitches later this month, I'm going to go to this yarn sale today and I need to think about what yarns to get, which projects I might want to do.
Hmmmm
