We're back

We're back from our vacation, which was very nice. We went to Monterey for the weekend, and it was fun to go someplace that we had been to before but this time to really take the time to explore. I hope to do a more detailed post on our weekend tomorrow.

We're also back to "normal". We were back at the vet today -the cat's wound is healing slowly because she was scratching at it and has opened it up again. So, more warm compresses and a bandage on her foot to keep her from scratching (which means she has to stay inside until the end of the week). Back to the vet next Monday to get her stitches out, if all goes well.

And (there's always an "and", isn't there?) Buddy had a fever of 102.1 at bedtime. No obvious rashes, no localized pain, just a runny nose and fever. We'll just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.

I'm close to finishing the first border on the Estonian lace wrap, and need to frog a bunch of the No No Kitty shawl, for which I haven't yet given any details. I'll try to have pictures and details of everything this week, but right now I'm going to bed, in case Buddy has a bad night. Keep your fingers crossed!
