Getting back to what resembles normal
So there have been no medical emergencies at my house in the past week, and nothing other than fingers have been up Buddy's nose (that we know of). So things are looking up.
Buddy has still not gotten back to his usual 10 hours of sleep per night, and most nights has been waking up some time around 2:00. I can usually get him back to bed, but it involves changing diapers, giving a bottle, and some amount of screaming. I end up sleeping on the sofa some, which is not the most comfortable. And the one night in the past 10 days that he has slept through Punkin woke up with bad dreams and climbed into bed with me.
All this to say I'm not yet firing on all cylinders. But I am knitting. I'm working on a present for my nephew who turns 2 this weekend (it's not going to get there on time) and thinking about a present for a friend who is having a baby. That present has to be done by next Friday, so I'm going to have to get creative with this one. I've worked a little more on Serrano, but not much.
I've spent more time lately getting back to regular exercise. It's been too cold lately to take my usual walk with the boy in the morning, but it's warmed up a little and I've made it out the last two mornings. I joined Rachael's challenge at Runagogo and I'm having fun with that. I'll try to update my sidebars, but as you can see I don't get around to that very often (the Jaywalker knitalong was how long ago?)
Hope you all are staying warm wherever you are!
