Still unpacking, apparently
We got home from our trip to Boston almost two weeks ago. As I mentioned in my earlier post we had the cat box disaster to deal with (which lingered for days, by the way. We found cat pee on the floor and under the bookshelves in the children's room, which means we aren't really done until we remove the floor to ceiling bookshelves that line one entire wall of their room and clean the floor underneath. Ugh.)
So it took a while to finish unpacking and work through the laundry. And it is taking even longer to get the laundry folded and put away (as in I'm still working on it).
But even so I kept having the hardest time finding clean underwear. I could dig through my drawer and find the "backup" pairs (you know what I mean, don't you? You have a certain number of pairs that you really like, and then a bunch more that don't fit as well but you keep them anyway because there isn't really anything wrong with them and it's good to have extra.)
I thought it was just because I had so much laundry yet to be folded and put away, and just kept rummaging through the baskets and promising myself to order more. Didn't think much of it.
Until this afternoon when I went looking for my sneakers so I could go outside and do some yard work (Anybody know how to kill morning glory vines? Because ours are taking over the yard and going for the house next). I found my sneakers and pulled out what I thought were athletic socks from inside and discovered... underwear! Six pairs of underwear from our trip to Boston have been snugged into my sneakers ever since we got back.
I guess I should exercise more.
